When one has babies separated by a mere 17 months, they quickly take multitasking to a new level. This was demonstrated by my beautiful friend Bethany, who, when I arrived for this shoot, was sitting cross legged in a chair balancing baby Jude on her lap while simultaneously breastfeeding him and putting on her makeup. Then she proceeded to share her entire birth story while continuing to apply eyeliner and feed her baby. I can barely do eyeliner on a good day, much less while feeding a baby hands free and carrying on a conversation. Impressive. At just a few days old, little Jude had a variety of wrinkly expressions, and I loved watching newly minted Big Sister Stella interact with her little brother in her own sweet way.
